| Bail denied to two in fake currency case | | |

Jammu, July 23: Sub-Judge Jammu Kusum Pandita rejected the bail application of Rashid Ali and Muzffar Wazir in fake currency notes case.
According to the police case, Trikuta Nagar police arrested the accused persons on June 24, 2018 for preparing fake currency and had installed machines and other apparatus for the purpose.
Sub-Judge Jammu Kusum Pandita after hearing Senior PO Puja Nijhon appearing for the state observed that the offences allegedly committed by the accused carry punishment for imprisonment for life and accused have tried to cause great loss to the economy of the country and have tried to deceive the public at large. With these observations Court rejected the bail application. |
