Recovery of Rs 30 lakh cash from two Rohingyas

JAMMU, Aug 10: Jammu police have started scrutinizing bank accounts, Call Detail Records (CDRs) of detained Rohingyas as well as absconding to work out the source of huge cash which was seized on Wednesday from the possession of two Rohingyas at Chatha falling under the jurisdiction of Channi Himmat Police station. Police sources said that they have started scrutinizing the bank accounts of the detained persons as well as absconding persons and also starting analysing the Call Detail Records (CDRs) of all the persons (detained and absconding). "In the absence of main accused this can give lead about the source of money," said a police officer adding that pattern of location of the absconding Rohingyas is also being monitored.
