Killed man's wife dares Zakir Mosa to prove her husband was an informer

Early Times Report
Anantnag, Aug 10: Mustering courage, Kashmiris have finally started raising voice against the atrocities unleashed upon them by the militants' particularly in South Kashmir.
However ironically, the so-called human rights defenders continue to maintain criminal silence over killings of unarmed civilians and other human rights violations being perpetrated by the militants.
On Thursday in South Kashmir's Kulgam, 56 years old Fayaz Ahmed Sofi challenged militants and asked them to prove his slain son, who was allegedly abducted and tortured to death by militants, was an 'informer' and aided army in killing militants.
Militants had abducted two youth from Kulgam on Wednesday. The gunmen tortured the duo - Mehraj Ahmed Dar of Hawoora and Arif Ahmed Sofi of Khudwani, and left them in unconscious state. Mehraj is still untraceable while Arif was shifted to Srinagar hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday night.
Arif was laid to rest on Thursday at his native graveyard. Over six thousand people participated in his funeral prayers that concluded peacefully and without any sloganeering. Slain youth's father Fayaz Ahmad addressed mourners.
Now the wife of an alleged informer has also raised her voice against the militants and asked them to prove that her husband was helping army to eliminate militants. The video of the woman has gone viral on social media and is being widely shared.
According to woman, a group of militants had abducted her husband some six months ago and tortured him. "They (militants) have made a video of him in which has forced to admit that he was helping forces which isn't true. I raised my voice at the time but they (militants) requested me to keep quiet and the issue will be resolved amicably," she says in the video.
Woman in the video asks militant commander Zakir Moosa, who heads Ansar Ghazwat ul-Hind to substantiate his claims and make the proof public on social media. "If they have concrete proof that my husband guilty I will myself kill him," challenges the militants.
In both cases, Victim families haven't received any support from so-called human rights groups. Important to mention here, militant groups in South Kashmir have unleashed a reign of terror among innocent civilians and even SPO's of Jammu and Kashmir police are being targeted and asked to quit jobs.
