UDHAMPUR, Aug 10: Principal of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Tikri near here has alleged harassment by an incharge lecturer of Physics of the same school and has demanded stern action against him.
Principal Poonam Langeh has lodged a complaint with the District Development Commissioner (DDC), Udhampur and Director School Education, Jammu in this regard on Thursday.
According to the complaint filed with the DDC Udhampur, Principal Langeh has alleged that one Incharge lecturer of Physics, Janak Raj, is harassing her on one pretext or the other since she has joined the school three months back. She added that every day he creates new problem in the school, sometimes he instigates locals and sometimes make complaints against her in the Naib Tehsildar's office. She further alleged that as the Independence Day is drawing nearer, the lecturer has spoiled the peace of the school besides ruining its congenial atmosphere.
Langeh added that she is a patient of depression due to which she could not work in such an atmosphere. She demanded stern action against the erring lecturer for harassing a woman. |
