Youth should lead nation towards peace, progress, development: Bhim Singh

JAMMU, Dec 29: Professor Bhim Singh, Supremo National Panthers Party (NPP) on Saturday said that NPP strongly pleaded with the President of India to constitute an advisory committee for Jammu and Kashmir to deal with the circumstances and situation during the President's rule and working order.
Addressing a press conference today, NPP Supremo urged the President of India to ensure justice is done to all the residents of the state presiding in all the three regions. He appealed that fresh approach should be applied with the fresh thinking in order to involve the people of three regions, particularly youths which will lead towards progress and development.
He added that all this is possible if present government involves youth from all the regions of the state as well as the special and political thinkers from all schools of thoughts for committed to peace, progress, secularism and nationalism.
Supremo NPP said that the President should take a new course in the New Year with a message of ceasefire in the valley for almost three months from the New Year with law and order should be dealt by the police and the law and order controlling machinery. Also during these months we should appeal the angry youths to shed their anger and give up the arms.
It also included that army and security forces have done superb job in handling the situation in Kashmir. They deserve a salute from all the countrymen. During the three months they should be withdrawn from populated areas. Also Panchayat should be entrusted to look for spreading peaceful work in their areas.
Professor Bhim Singh also appealed the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir to support this mission of the state Legal Aid Committee in Jammu and Kashmir to ensure that justice is done to all those who are in jails and he assured that every such youth who will surrender and give up arms shall be treated like a member of the family and his family shall also be taken care of.
