Jammu, Dec 29: The miserable condition of Narwal Mandi Park near Vegetable Market has been craving for attention which is lying unattended since its creation.
Although the Park is entirely covered with boundary walls and an entrance gate has also been made but total indifference of the Floriculture and other departments gives it a shabby look.
According to locals the park is situated near the Vegetable market of Jammu but the park is so filthy hat it makes anybody's stay difficult. They further said that due to ignorance of the government, the park is lying unattended since years and is being used as a urinal by locals. "Being an abandoned place, it has been observed that some people use this park for immoral activities like consuming drugs, alcohol etc.
They further said that the park has been turned into garbage dumping yard, which generates foul smell and breeds mosquitoes, flies. |
