Jammu, Dec 29: Arohi Kala Sangeet Vidyalaya organized a musical event "Ek Shaam Mohd Rafi Ke Naam" to celebrate the birth anniversary of legendry singer Mohd Rafi at Forest Information Centre Hall Jammu. A large number of Mohd Rafi fans attended the event.
On the occasion, eminent journalist Sohail Kazmi was the chief guest and social activist Rajinder Magotra was the guest of honor while Founder Road Safety Champions Ravinder Kumar Bhat, renowned entrepreneur & interior decorator Pooja Kapoor, famous poet & author Pyaasa Anjum and musician Brij Lal were special guest.
State president Betiyaan Foundation & chairperson the Performers Group Urja Singh attended the event as guest celebrity.
Students of Arohi namely Pallavi Wazir, Afroz Naaz from Kargil, Shewani, Waquar Rasool from Poonch, Atul Pandita from Srinagar, Vasu, Vikas, Gandharv, Ananaya, Rampaul Dogra from Jammu, Deepak Kumar and Sukreeti from Kathua sang songs of Mohd Rafi based on different ragas. |
