BLSKS stages Dogri musical play "Sneha"

Jammu, Dec 29: To aware the masses on "Prevention Of Aids " & promote the traditional rich culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) presented its regular 242th Saturday Series Dogri musical play "SANEHA" in close collaboration with J&K State Aids Control Society , Department of Health and Medical Education, Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir, Sangam Tru Art Production & National College of Computer Education at Govt. Higher secondary School Dansal. The programe was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Narinder Singh, Principal Govt. Higher secondary School Dansal. The Guest of honour were Dr. Sanjeev ,Medical officer, Primary Health Center, Dansal, Payare Lal Sharma & Shiv Dayal, Sapranch Chhurta of Block Dansal, V.K.Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India, J.K.Raina, Producer , Director Films. Speaking on the occasion chief guest highlighted the importance of the day is to raise the public awareness about AIDS (Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome).
AIDS is a pandemic disease caused due to the infection of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and would take the oath and urge people to not discriminate people living with HIV and behave with them as a normal human beings and also lauding the role of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan-(NGO) and underlined the importance of staging such plays in all parts of the state to generate awareness among the masses about various social evils through theatre/drama/skits which are still very powerful medium of communication.
