| Sr Divison football league tournament commenced at Parade ground | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 29: Sr. Division Football League Tournament 2018-19 organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (DFA Jammu) commenced today at Parade Football ground Jammu.
All the senior football teams of Jammu and Kashmir will be participating in the tournament with some top clubs of the state. First match of the day was played between Jammu and Kashmir Bank Academy and Shaheen Blue.
J&K Bank Academy out classed the opponent by scoring two goals in the match with Ankit Mehta scoring in the few minutes of the match. Pardeep Singh scored the second goal of the match in 65th minute.
Shaheen Blue's Atul Mehra was handed red card for the two fouls and will next match. Second Match of the Tournament was played between NGR FC and Climate FC. NGR FC had multiple shots on the post giving no room for the opponents.
NGR FC scored 4 goals. Narsesh netted two goals in 4th and 45th minute both coming in first half. Ajay and Rizwan scored other 2 goals. All the goals of NGR FC came in first half.
Sheikh Mehmood (Retd. IPS), District President DFA Jammu, Showket Khanyari (Secretary, J&K Bank Sports Board), Nazir Ahmed (Presidnt Jammu West), Ramesh Chander (Vice President West JKFA), Varinder Gupta, Charan Dass were the guests of the occasion. |
