University Team visits GDC Ramkote for affiliation

Kathua, June 13: An inspection team of University of Jammu comprising of Prof. R. K. Ganjoo, Director Colleges Development Council (CDC), Prof. Arti Bakshi, HOD Psychology, K. P. S. Sambyal AR, CDC visited Government Degree College Ramkote on 12th June 2019 for introduction of Degree Courses from the academic session 2019-20 and its affiliation with University of Jammu. The team members inspected all the facilities and infrastructure available for running the college from its temporary building of Govt. Boys Middle School Ramkote and other relevant record pertaining to the opening of Degree College at Ramkote. The team appreciated the efforts of State Hr. Education Department and the Nodal officer, Principal Government Degree College Kathua, for making available the necessary infrastructure for the establishment of this new college. Earlier Dr. T. R. Sharma, Principal Government Degree College Kathua& Nodal officer welcomed the inspection team and also made a detailed presentation about the existing infrastructure and subjects proposed to be introduced in the current academic session. Dr. P.K. Rao, Dr. Pankaj Gupta, Dr. Balwinder Singh & Neha Mahajan, members of the committee constituted for establishing the college, were also present on this occasion. Dr. T. R. Sharma, Nodal officer informed that the admission for the current academic session will commence from 20th June 2019 as per admission notification issued by Nodal Principal, GGM Science College Jammu on 8th June 2019.
