JAMMU, June 13: With their heads down in shame, veteran Jammu based PDP leaders, some of them are founder members of the party, were forced to listen sermons of rape accused Talib Hussain during the Wazwan Dinner organized by one of party's leader at Jammu's known hotel on Wednesday evening.
The rape accused, who is on bail, was giving lecturer to these leaders on politics and they were helplessly listening them because they were very much aware that the same person was star campaigner of the party in the just concluded Parliamentary elections in which PDP had failed to open its account. Wednesday's Wazwan Party was specially organized to introduce this new star among Jammu based leaders. And second it was clear message to the Jammu based leaders by the party leadership that they have to accept this rape accused as their leaders otherwise 'doors are opened' for them to leave the PDP.
The helpless Jammu based PDP leaders have no option but to listen sermons of the same person who had left no stone unturned to communalize infamous and heinous Rassana incident. This rape accused had not only tried to give communal colour to the heinous crime, he had also tried to demonize local deities of Dogras and whole Dogra community.
Credible sources in the before beginning of the Wazwan Party, some Jammu based leaders sought to draw attention of party president Mehbooba Mufti towards Anantnag terror attack in which five CRPF men had attained martyrdom but it was all due to pressure on this rape accused that PDP leadership decided that "Party Must Go On", despite killing of five CRPF jawans. |
