Pak refuses to mend its ways

There has been no let up in the ceasefire violations by Pakistan and in its attempts to push in terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir. On Wednesday two soldiers were martyred while fighting heavily armed terrorists at Dabhar Potha village, 5 kms, from the Line of Control in Rajouri district. The terrorists who were engaged in a gunfight by the soldiers were believed to be fresh group which was looking for a way to reach south Kashmir through Mughal Road.During the past 10-days Pakistan Army has resorted to several ceasefire violations in Rajouri and Poonch sectors apparently to provide cover to the infiltrators. The Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy had informed the Parliament in its recently concluded session that nearly 60 terrorists have infiltrated into J&K after the reorganization of the erstwhile State on August 5.
It's crystal clear that Pakistan is trying to push in the terrorists through Rajouri and Poonch sectors due to snowfall blocking the passes along the LoC in Kashmir. Voices across the country are becoming shriller to send a message to Pakistan that it cannot bleed us anymore and the time has come to end the cross border terrorism and ceasefire violations by our rogue neighbor once for all. The new Army Chief Manoj Mukund Naravane issued a stern warning to Pakistan soon after assuming the charge. With the elevation of the former Army Chief Bipin Rawat as the Chief of Defence Staff the political leadership in the country has exhibited its will to change the discourse which has been dominating the sub continent for the past 30-years.The Pulwama attack, which led to martyrdom of 40 paramilitary CRPF men, in February 2019 and the subsequent airstrikes at Balakot deep inside the Pakistani territory, carried out by Indian Air Force (IAF) jets to avenge the killings of brave hearts of Central Reserve Police Force sent a clear message to world that India has declared a war against terrorism. Pakistan also knows it very well that it cannot indulge in misadventures and if it still persists with its policy of grooming terrorists and sending them into J&K it will have to pay a heavy price for it. Indian Army along the LoC and borders is in its full state of preparedness and is waiting for the nod to launch a decisive war against terror so that peace can prevail permanently.
