Specially abled person calls for larger coverage under artificial limbs scheme

Noshwera, Jan 3: The specially abled person, especially those living in Line of Control villages of Nowshera sub division, under the banner of District Association of Specially Disabled Person headed by Rajouri district president Shabir Ahmed Sambyal and vice president Vinod Sharma have called for expediting the efforts of providing then the artificial limbs. A large number of these men said that their lives are full of challenges due to physical disabilities. The specially abled person living in LoC villages including Nowshera and other Tehsils said that dozens of people in every border villages got injured in shelling, mine blasts in past years and are now living a tough life. They further said that army on usual occasions good special camps to provide artificial limbs to affected person but the efforts are not adequate due to large number of specially abled person.
They appealed government civil authorities and especially the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir to formulate a policy on larger note and to provide them artificial like so that their miseries could come to minimal level.
They also said that mine blasts and shelling have taken toll on bo e Ghulamane villages population leaving a number of civilians dead and hundreds other disabled.
