| Mockery of HR under President's Rule in J&K, worst than dictatorship: Bhim Singh | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 3: Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party, Sr. Advocate in the Supreme Court of India & Executive Chairman of State Legal Aid Committee today expressed shock on the behaviour of the Rulers in Jammu & Kashmir which is under President's Rule when the State Govt. has crossed all the limits thrashing Fundamental Rights vis-à-vis Jammu & Kashmir.
Prof. Bhim Singh urged the President of India, Ramnath Kovind to direct J&K Govt. which is under President's command, to follow the principles of Natural Justice and Fundamental Rights which stand applied to all the residents of Jammu & Kashmir since dissolution of Article 35A. Prof. Bhim Singh expressed shock on the behaviour of the Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir to treat the people of Jammu & Kashmir even the noted leadership of Jammu & Kashmir like Sheep & Goats detaining them in prisons under outdated Laws like PSA. No person can be detained beyond three months without trial and Fundamental Rights apply to all citizens of India including the human beings/citizens of India living in Jammu & Kashmir. It is a mockery that known/noted political leaders/Ex-Legislators and even sitting Members of Parliament has been locked like Sheep in Kashmir for more than five months which is utter violation of Human Rights in Jammu & Kashmir which is under President's Rule today. |
