Forest covers of J&K increases among top five states

Jammu, Jan 3: Under the chairmanship of Sheikh Bashir Ahmad, Chief Advisor conduct a meeting with Pr. Chief Conservator of Forests, J&K, Jammu in his office chamber at Van Bhawan, Jammu along with G.N War, Province body of Jammu Ravi Kumar, Provincial President, Gurcharan Singh, Ashwani Kumar, R.S Jasrotya, Shamsher Singh, Reyaz Hamdani and put forth all the genuine and agreed demands before the worthy Pr. Chief Conservator of Forests, J&K, Jammu.
The association leaders briefly discussed as per Meeting Agenda in light of agreement made in between the association leaders and the authorities on dated:-12.09.2018 and in view of direction passed by High Court in SWP No.177 of 2016, MP No. 01/2016 titled Sheikh Bashir V/s State. The worthy Pr. Chief Conservator of Forests, J&K, Jammu Dr. Mohit Geera (IFS) issued on spot directions to concerned officers especially Chief Conservator of Forests, Jammu and Chief Conservator of Forests, Kashmir and also Chief Conservator of Forests Central and PO to PCCF for immediate redressal of all agreed demands especially DPC of all caders. The Pr. Chief Conservator of Forests, J&K, Jammu assured the delegation that all the demands which are within his competence will be settled immediately and rest will be taken up with the Govt. for issuance of formal orders as per enclosed meeting agenda Dr. Mohit Geera (IFS) also assured the association that their employees will seek imagine in future the fruitful results and also apprised the leaders about the biomass and in increase in growing stock Forest cover among top five state of country.
