Baramulla, Jan 3: Security forces on Friday launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Tangmarg in this north Kashmir district, official sources said.
They said on a tip off about militant movement, troops of Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF launched a CASO at Badipora, Tangmarg early this morning despite sub-zero temperature.
The area has been cordoned off and vehicles, passing through the area are also being searched and passengers frisked.
So far no one has been detained, they said. |
