| JBFDC hails CAA, abolition of Lakhanpur toll tax | | |

JAMMU, Jan 3: Jammu Bahu Fort Development Committee (JBFDC) welcomed Union Government decision over Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 (CAA), and J&K UT Government orders for abolishment of Lakhanpur Toll Tax, Holiday on the eve of Accession Day and Jammu District Holiday on the eve of Mela Bahu Fort.
Rajeev Charak President JBFDC said that we welcomes Union Government Decision over Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 (CAA) and added that instead of having civil debate based on facts, some opposition parties are bent on subverting any discourse or the truth, by spreading completely absurd lies and what is lost in their discourse is the plight of those who suffered untold sufferings since the partition of India and CAA aims to provide citizenship to those people without affecting citizenship rights of any existing citizen. Advocate Ishant Gupta Spokesperson JBFDC said that we welcome UT J&K Government's order for abolishing of toll tax at Lakhanpur. He said that abolish of toll is a historic decision especially for the traders of J&K and consumers too who will benefits now with the availability of goods at cheaper rates than before. He added that by removing the Lakhanpur Toll Tax, the Government has made a real merger of Jammu and Kashmir with India. “Now we can say that there is One Nation-One Tax”. |
