| Overcrowded markets in Rajouri throw social distancing to wind | | |  SUSHIL DUTTA

RAJOURI, May 21: With a large number of people crowding the market places in Rajouri after the shops were allowed to open by the administration, the social distancing was thrown to wind.
The main markets of Rajouri city including Dhaki Bazaar and Gujjar Mandi witnessed a huge rush of people to make purchases but hardly anyone was paying attention to observe the social distancing.
The people who came to the markets though were wearing masks, but no one was cautious to make a safe distance from each other as most of the people were standing very close.
The shopkeepers also didn’t bother to ask their customers to maintain social distancing and the same trend continued throughout the market. |
