| Professors `ready to pay' hefty amount for enhancing retirement age | | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 21: At least 61 professors and associate professors working in Higher Education department have reportedly been burning midnight oil to fix a deal with the administration for enhancement of their retirement age, keeping aside the concerns of thousands of highly qualified unemployed youth.
Sources informed Early Times that these 61 professors and associate professors were scheduled to retire in 2019. However, it has come to fore that they are ready to pay hefty sum for getting retirement age enhanced. Pertinent to mention these professors get around Rs 2 lakhs per month.
A total of 16 College Professors, who are confirmed Principals are going to retire in year 2019. These professors include Dr Kiran Bakshi, Z.A Chatt, Dr. Hemla Agarwal, Dr Satinder Singh, Dr Banwari Lal, Dr NA Charag, Shabir Hussain Shah, Dr. Asha Gupta, Dr Kalpna Kesar, Dr. PK Sharma, Dr. Nisar Ahmad Yatoo, Abdul Rehman Bhat, Dr Kuldeep Raj, Dr Abdul Majeed Dar, Shaheen Altaf Matoo and Dr Rafiya Rashid.

Jammu, Dec 21: Owing to a nexus between some health department officials and private clinic owners, hundreds of the private clinics owned by the outsiders are running in the state without registration from the Director Health Services in Jammu.
However, an official of the DHS Jammu told that teams were formulated to verify the credentials of the private clinics, especially those run by outsiders very shortly as there are numbers of complaints against them.
