12/14/2018 10:42:58 PM
Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 14: The BJP State cadre is not satisfied with the role of national general secretary and in charge J&K State Ram Madhav who has taken many unwise decisions during last three years after taking charge of the state unit. Sources said one senior BJP leader and two time MLA and former president of the State Unit when objected to grant of mandate to outsiders and novice to the party was asked by BJP general Secretary to bother about his own mandate as party had decided to drop him. This behaviour of a senior leader from Delhi with a staunch party leader from the State sent wrong signals to party cadres. Madhav, sources said managed the ticket of the leader from a constituency in the State who after winning elections started back stabb...

Misinformation campaign
12/14/2018 10:42:50 PM
Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 14: Some vested interests in Kashmir have started creating an impression that Article 356 is also applicable to J&K and that the state would come under the President's Rule on December 19 after the completion of the Governor's Rule on December 19. The state Governor had imposed his rule in the state on June 19, the day the BJP withdrew its support to the Mehbooba Mufti-led coalition government. Article 356 is not also applicable to the state. Those who say that is applicable to state are only misleading the people for reasons best known to them. J&K is the solitary state in India which can be kept under the Governor's Rule for a maximum period of 6 months...

The state Constitution was amended by the Farooq Abdullah Government and it was supported by all, including the Congress, the PDP, the CPI-M, the BJP and the PDF.
