When will Farooq Khan speak out? Former Cops have started talking 3/14/2015 11:58:47 PM Early Times Report Srinagar, Mar 14: Former `super cop' Ashiq Bukhari's recent revelations may have serious bearing on Omar Abdullah's political career. According to him, the former Chief Minister told him why he had not killed Masarat Alam after arresting him in October 2010. Bukhari further said that he awarded him and his tam Rs 10 lakhs and out of turn promotions. IG Crime Branch, Raja Aijaz Ali said Haji Yusuf was harassed and tortured at Chief Minister's residence. Yusuf was handed over to the IG Crime by Chief Minister on 29, 2011 following an alleged murky money deal. Raja told the relatives of Haji Yusuf on the fateful evening that 'whatever happened, has happened at Chief Minister's residence'.Both these police officers joined PDP after their retirement. Another former SOG stalwart, Farooq Khan who also joined politics has preferred to remain mum for the time being. However, people now expect him to open his mouth.
