Soz accompanies Dr Farooq for filing nomination papers
'No Modi factor in Jammu, coalition workers confident'

Srinagar, Apr 7: Prof Saifuddin Soz President Jammu Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) accompanied Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah today to the Returning Officer (R/O) , Srinagar where Dr Farooq Abdullah filed his nomination Papers from Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency. Prof Soz accompanied Dr Farooq and chief minister Omar Abdullah to Hazratbal Shrine where the trio offered their obeisance at the Shrine and prayed for peace and prosperity for mankind especially the people of J&K State. The statement said thereafter Prof Soz accompanied Dr Farooq Abdullah to the adjoining Park at Hazratbal where he was schedule to address a press conference.On that occasion Prof Soz made it clear that INC's Coordination with NC was perfect throughout the State and cadres from both Parties were working wholeheartedly for success of all the six Candidates fielded in Kashmir, Jammu and Ladakh. JKPCC Prof Soz told the media persons at Hazratbal that there was no Modi factor in Jammu where the coalition workers were feeling confident that on both seats there the candidates would win with a thumping majority. Prof Soz told media persons that things are getting better for the Congress throughout the Country and Modi factor was receding. Humming similar tones like Dr Farooq Abdullah, Prof Soz said that in every election the BJP raised issues like common civil code, Ram Mandhir and abrogation of Article 370, but they (BJP) know fully that these were not achievable goals. "These were only election gimmicks, he added.Later Prof Soz addressed workers at Party Headquarters and exhorted them to work tirelessly for success of the NC Candidates in Kashmir as NC was wholeheartedly working for the success of the Congress's candidates in Jammu and Ladakh.Meantime a large number of Congress and NC workers had gathered in the compound near the Returning Officer's Office to greet Dr Farooq Abdullah.
