Minor siblings injured in shell explosion in Jammu | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 7: Two minors siblings received burns injuries when shell like explosive substance with which they were fiddling with exploded near at Sunjwan in Bathindi area of winter capital of state, this evening. "The injured have been identified as Sadaam Hussain (16) and Abdul Kalam (8) both sons of Nizamudin of Uttar Pradesh presently at Sunjwan", said a police said. Sharing the details of incident a police official, said that the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) for treatment. According to police, the father of the injured who is a labourer while briefing the police said that the children were playing in open area near their house where they found a shell like substance which they took to the house and started fiddling with it. "While they were fiddling with it, the shell exploded resulting into injuries to them, police added. In-charge police post Bathindi, SI Kamal Kishore said that during preliminary investigation it came to fore that the shell was rusted and old but investigation is on in this regard. |
