CB Jammu raids notorious land grabber’s house, seizes revenue records 4/7/2014 11:47:36 PM Jammu, Apr 7: The sleuths of Crime Branch (CB), Jammu today raided the house of Ravinder Gupta alias Gola Shah of Jammu, in connection with Case FIR No. 19/2011 registered with P/S Crime Branch Jammu and during the raids crime branch seized some revenue records. According to spokesperson of Crime Branch, Jammu, the sleuths of Crime Branch Jammu, while during course of investigation of a case found Ravinder Gupta alias Gola Shah S/o Suraj Parkash Jandyal of Jammu, in connection with Case FIR No. 19/2011 u/s 420, 467, 468, 471 & 120-B RPC P/S Crime Branch Jammu was not cooperating with the investigating agency and didn’t produce any documents related to the instant case. “The Crime branch took up matter with Court and after obtaining necessary search warrant from the Court, search of the house Ravinder Gupta was conducted by the team of Crime Branch Jammu and some discriminate documents such as revenue records/sale deeds etc were seized in presence of independent witnesses, spokesperson said. “Brief facts of the case are that on a complaint lodged by Kuldeep Raj Gupta S/o Late Rajmal Gupta R/o W-1, R S Pura, Jammu and another was received at the Crime Branch Jammu alleging therein that they had purchased land measuring 04 kanals falling under Khasra No. 643-Min situated at Greater Kailash, Jammu through one Ravinder Gupta alias Gola Shah got executed the sale deed in their favour from another party namely Chet Singh S/o Bhag Singh R/o Sunjwan, Jammu through his attorney holder Joginder Singh S/o Ram Saran R/o Sunjwan on 22/02/1992 in the Court of Sub-Registrar (Munsiff), Jammu. “After executing the sale deed, the complainant requested the said Ravinder Gupta @ Gola Shah to accompany them for taking over possession and for affecting mutation of land in revenue records, but said Ravinder Gupta never acceded to their requests since February 1992, they alleged and added he (Ravinder Gupta) started threatening them of dire consequences if they try to obtain possession or take any step for mutation of the said land in revenue records.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
