JKPDTU extends support to agitating dental surgeons | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 13: Executive body of the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Trade Union (JKPDTU) met here today under the chairmanship of Suresh Sharma State President and strongly condemned the anti-working class policies of the State Government and extended full support the agitating striking Dental surgeons and demanded immediate intervention of the Government to sort out their issues thus bringing an end to this agitation forthwith. The meeting discussed in detail important issues and unanimously resolved to support on issues confronting working class of the State. Sharma said it is shame on the part of the government that educated and qualified section of the society is on the roads for the several days and government has not bothered to hold talks with them. Referring to the policy decision of the Government regarding consideration of period of ReT towards fixation of their seniority , he demanded that on the same analogy this benefit should be given to the employees working on adhoc, contractual, consolidated and ReZs at the time of their regularization in order to meet the justice both ends. Sharma also demanded that scraping of new recruitment policy should given retrospective effect i.e. from the date this flawed policy was implemented in 2010. It was also demanded to release 10% DA, increase in the medical allowance to Rs. 2000/- , increase in daily wages to Rs. 300/- and issuance of orders of regularization of all daily wagers and pay anomaly cases pending with the Govt immediately. |
