2 more Amarnath yatris die, toll reaches 35 so far

Srinagar, July 21 : With the death of two more yatris from Karnataka and Mumbai, the toll of Amarnath pilgrims has risen to 35 since the commencement of 45-day-long annual pilgrimage from June 28.
A yatri official here today said that a 55-year-old yatri K Ravi suffered a massive heart attack at base camp Pahalgam.
He was rushed to medical camp where he was declared dead.
He said a 47-year-old yatri Anita Sharma, wife of Ajay Sharma, resident of Mumbai, was admitted to S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) on July 18. However, she died last night, the official said.
