Srinagar, July 21: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today constituted a campaign committee for the coming elections to the State Assembly. The decision was taken at the meeting of party's Political Affairs Committee (PAC) held under the chairmanship of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Among the members of the committee were Muzaffar Hussain Baig as chairman, Tariq Hameed Kara, S Rangeel Singh, Haseeb Drabu , Rafeeq Hussain Khan, AR Veeri, Naeem Akhtar, Zaffar Manhas and Firdous Tak.
Those who attended the meeting apart from party president Mehbooba Mufti included Muzaffar Hussain Baig, Tariq Hameed Karra, S Rangeel Singh, Mohammad Dilawar Mir, S Rafeeq Hussain Khan, Yashpal Sharma, Syed Altaf Bukhari, Haseeb Drabu and S Tarlok Singh Bajwa, Naeem Akhtar.
The committee has been tasked to prepare a draft manifesto for the party for approval after consultations. Party also announced mandates for four more constituencies including GM Sofi from Handwara, Dr Harmesh Salathia from Vijaypur, Daman Bhasin from Jammu West and Shafiqurrehman from Mahore. |
