Jammu, July 21: Vibrations "The Dance Studio" presented their first Flash Mob at Pacific mall. The fervent participants were in the age group of 5-30 years. The Flash mob included various dance forms like Hip-hop, Bollywood, Waacking, B- Boying, Tutting, locking and popping and free style.
Vibrations "The Dance Studio" was founded on 25th April 2014 by the efforts of artists Harshit Gupta and Abhinav Bhattacharya. The main idea to open a studio was to bring in a new era of contemporary dancing and other forms and fitness to the city of Dehradun.
Harshit Gupta got trained and enhanced his dance skills under well known choreographers in Mumbai. There he got an opportunity to learn various dance forms like Jazz, Contemporary, Latin American, Basic Ballet, Bollywood and Hip Hop. He has assisted and performed in many reality dance shows like Dance India Dance, Lil Champs & Dance Ke Superstars and is a certified Reebok trainer. He has performed in the biggest Bollywood musical play named 'Zangoora' alongside Gauhar Khan and Hussain, at Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon.
Abhinav Bhattacharya at a very young age took vocational dance training in Hip Hop and freestyle Bollywood . With his dance skills he drew an interest in music and led to learning professional sound and music editing. With his passion for dance and music and his exposure in the Bollywood industry he wishes to take forward his mixing music and editing sounds skills for the team. Recently Vibrations conducted a B-Boying workshop by Vishal Kukreti who is an accomplished B-boying and hip hop master from Dubai. He has also performed alongside with famous celebrities. Shannon Lee, Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachan, Raveena Tandhon, Ajay Devgan, Prachi, Asin, Usha Uthup, Kunal Ganjawala, Wiam Dahmani, Devi Sri Prasad, are to name some. He also got an opportunity to be a part of several competitions, like Chak Dhoom Dhoom, Boogie Woogie, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, etc. |
