srinagar, Aug 13: The Islamia College of Science (ICS) Reds today reached the final after they beat ICS Yellows by 35 runs in the semifinals of ongoing cricket tournament of Islamia College of Science and Commerce, here. Earlier, batting first, after winning the toss, ICS Reds made 145 runs. Musaib, Zahid and Mudassir remained top scorers with 45, 40 and 35 runs in their respective accounts. From ICS Yellows, Irshad took two wickets while Amir and Adil shared apiece each. In reply, ICS Yellows could make 110 runs when all their wickets fell in 12 overs. Parvaiz and Asif were main contributors to the total with 48 and 26 runs respectively. Now, in the final, scheduled to be played tomorrow at 11 am, ICS Reds shall take on ICS Whites. |
