Protest at GDC Paloura enters sixth day | | | Jammu, Aug 13: Jammu Joint Students Union (JJSU) today staged protest demonstration consecutively sixth day at GDC Paloura and boycotted college classes demanding opening admission for re-appear candidates. Students of College along with activists of JJSU staged protest by tying black bands on their foreheads and arms to lodge their protest against the college administration. Protest was lead by Neeraj Singh Langeh, State President JJSU and Nitish Sharma (Vice President), Atal Choudhary. Activists of JJSU alongwith students of GDC Paloura gathered in college ground and boycott all the classes. Addressing the gathering, Neeraj Singh said that administration of GDC Paloura is against the students community and is violating the rights of the students community. He further said that College administration is dishonoring the cabinet order and violating the right of students for education. Nitish Sharma said that if administration of GDC failed to preserve the rights of students, JJSU will boycott classes till their demands met. He further warned the Higher Education Deptt. to intervene the matter unless JJSU will continue their protest. Other who were present on the occasion included Parbu Dayal Rana, Abishek Sharma, sandy, Gourav, Sunny Singh, harsh Gupta, sohil, Aman, Shubam, Sakib and Sahil Chib. |
