| Workshop on communication skills begins at SPMR College | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 28: Department of computer sciences, Government, SPMR college of commerce, Jammu inaugurated 10- days workshop on "Personality Development and Communication Skills Enhancement" from 28 August 2014 in the college premises for the students of BCA/BBA.
According to press release, the objective of the workshop was to enhance communication skills and to groom their personality helping students in their placements in different jobs.
Experts from, Edumax Success gurus, Vijay Singh Rana had an interaction with the students and briefed students about the detail program which he is going to cover in next 10 days.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the college, Prof. Satinder Singh said the basic aim of organising such seminars is to enlighten the students with the new ways of enriching and enhancing their communication skills.
He also appreciated the efforts of BCA department especially its HOD Prof. Parveen Singh for taking such initiatives. Prof Parveen Singh, Head of Department, Computer Sciences in his address mentioned communication skills as one of those vitals skills that will help students promote their objectives. He also dwelt in length the various programs that department is going to organize in this academic session.
Prof. Parshotam Singh, Prof. Varun Manhas, Prof. Ashish Gupta and Prof. Ravleen Singh were also present on the occasion. Prof. Madhurika Gupta, Prof Varun and Prof Aashish Co-ordinated the whole Program. |
