Brahman Sabha felicitates meritorious students 8/31/2014 11:10:27 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 31: Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha organized a function at Parshuram Bhawan Hall Parade Jammu to honour Brahman students who secured positions in J&K Board Examination and merit holders in CBSE. In Board Examination, there were 68 Students who secured 1st 20 positions in class 10th and 22 positions in 12th class and CBSE 10th class secured 48 positions and 12th class secured 16 positions. The total number was 154. Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha has been organising such programmes for the last 9 years. Dr Pardeep Kumar Sharma Vice Chancellor SKUAST, Jammu was the Chief Guest while Kiran Wattal Commissioner JMC, Soujanya Sharma Director Tourism and Anjaii Sharma Director Doordarshan, Jammu were the Guests of honour. The function was started with Saraswati Bandana and Deep Prajavalan followed by the welcome address by the President Ved Parkash Sharma. Later, the Chief Guest alongwith other dignities distributed the medals and certificates of merit to the students.
