Former Mayor JMC appeals Govt to airlift students marooned in Bemina | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 9: Former Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Narinder Singh Jamwal has appealed state government to initiate safety measure for rescuing the marooned people, especially the MBBS students of Bemina Medical College Srinagar. According to press release, former Mayor said that for the last two days, he has been getting phone calls from the family members of marooned MBBS students of Bemina Medical Colleges, who have been complaining that they have been very much worried about the safety of their wards. The family members have been claiming that still their wards have been marooned but they have failed to make any contact with the agencies, involved in rescue operation, he said. He appealed state government to airlift all students to Jammu, till the conditions would be normalized in valley. He also appealed government to intensity rescue operations, so that all the trapped people in valley would be saved. |
