| Rampant violation of transfer policy in Higher Edu Deptt goes unabated | | 40 out of 86 Physics lecturers are overstaying | | Akshay Azad
JAMMU, Sept 9: Rampant violation of transfer policy for gazetteed employees has been going on unabated since decades as out of 86 lecturers of Physics, 40 are overstaying in the colleges, some of them allegedly by greasing the palms of "seniors" and others are not being transferred by authorities due to reasons best known to them.
According to reply given by Higher Education department in response to an RTI application, the first in the list is Sudha Sehgal, presently posted at Women College Gandhi Nagar, who has been staying in Jammu city colleges for the last 25 years, in gross violation of transfer policy. "She remained posted in GGM Science college from year 1989 to 1999, followed by her transfer to WC Parade from 1999 to 2008 and again to WC Gandhi Nagar from 2008 to till today", the reply read as.
Hans Raj has been staying in the Jammu city colleges for the last nine years. From 2005 to 2011, he was in MAM college and from 2011 to 2013, he was at WC Gandhi Nagar and later transferred to WC Parade and till today, he is posted there.
BD Sehgal, a resident of Kachi Chawni Jammu, has been overstaying in GGC Science College since 5/2010, followed by Renu Vakil who has been staying in city colleges for the last 15 years (since 1999).
Narayan Dutt has been staying in city colleges for the last 14 years (since 2000), Karan Singh has been staying in city colleges for the last 13 years. Singh had stayed in MAM College from 2001 to 2011, but for a brief period he was at GDC Samba from 8/2011 to 4/2012, after which he is in Jammu city colleges.
Kuldeep Raj has been staying in GGM Science College for the last six years (since 2008), while Raj Kiran Sharma has been staying in Kathua college for the last 13 years (since 2001).
Sunil Dutt has been staying in city colleges for the last six years, apart from his brief tenure in GDC Kathua from 4/2012 to 6/2013.
Ravinder Kour has been staying in WC Udhampur for the last 9 years (since 2005), while Tussain Hussain Shan has been staying in GGM Science College for the last 6 years (since 2008).
Ajay Singh Dadwal has been staying at GGM Science College since 12/2009, (5 years) while Dinesh has been staying at GGM Science College since 12/2009 (5 years), besides Ramesh Kumar Bhat has been staying in Jammu city colleges since last six years apart from his brief stay in GDC Kathua for three months, from 3/2013 to 6/2013.
Moreover, Mohammad Iqbal Raina has been staying in GDC Rajouri for the last eight months (since 2007), while Balwinder Kour has been staying in GGM Science College for the last 5 years (12/2009).
Nidhi has been staying in GGM Science College since 12/2009, while Reena Rajput has been staying in GDC Samba for the last 6 years (since 2008), besides Anita Sharma has been staying in GDC Udhampur since 8/2008 and Poonam Angotra at WC Gandhi Nagar since 7/2011.
Devinder Kumar Sharma has been staying in Jammu city colleges for the last four years apart from his stay for 10 months in GDC Kathua, while Prabeet Kour has been staying in MAM College since 12/2009, besides Shammi Kumar at WC Parade and WC Gandhi Nagar from 12/2009.
Ashok Kumar at GGM Science College since 12/2009, Naresh Kumar at GDC Kathua since 12/2009, Pankaj Bandhoria at MAM College Jammu from 12/2009 to 3/2013 and at GGM Science College from 3/2013.
Sanjay Kumar at GDC Bhaderwah since 12/2009, Suram Singh at GDC Kathua since 12/2009, Neeraj Gupta at Jammu city college since 12/2009. He was at GGM Science College from 12/2009 to 5/2012 and for a brief period from 5/2012 to 4/2013 he was posted at GDC Akhnoor but again transferred to WC Parade.
Desh Bandu Sharma has been staying in Jammu city colleges since 12/2009, while Monika Bhat at Jammu city colleges since 12/2009, while Amita Dua at WC Kathua since 12/2009, Rakesh Kumar Pandit at GDC Bhaderwah and Madhvi Manohar Lal at GDC Kathua since 12/2009.
Sanjeev Goswami has been staying at Jammu city colleges since GGM Science College from 12/2009 to 4/2012 and for one year he was at GDC Samba and again returned to GGM Science College in 4/2013.
Anju Kumari has been staying in Jammu city colleges since 12/2009, while Bandhan Sharma also in Jammu city colleges from 12/2009. "She was at WC Gandhi Nagar from 12/2009 to 8/2012 and for eight months she was at GDC Akhnoor and on 4/2013 she was again posted at WC Parade", the reply said. |
