Help for trapped employees in Srinagar demanded | | | Jammu, Sept 9: The parents, relatives and families of the Employees/persons of various Govt. Departments and other private agencies trapped in the Hotels at various locations in Srinagar has appealed to the state government and other rescuing agencies to pay attention to the persons stranded in the flood and rescue them immediately to the safer places. As per latest communication with family members by the employees of National Informatics Centre Jammu and Kashmir and Other Departments who has been trapped at Hotel Lala Rukh, Lal Chowk Srinagar and other venues that till now no rescue team has reached there and they have no food and water to drink for last 2 days. Moreover some persons have become sick and need immediate medical attention. Also the water level has risen above 8 feet and they have taken shelter at the 2nd floor and there is every apprehension of collapsing the building at any time. All the families have urged the state government to take necessary steps and direct the rescue to Lal Chowk area so that precious lives of the persons trapped in such a dangerous zone can be saved. |
