Jammu, Sept 9 : Scores of the protestors were booked by the Janipur police for blocking the road which caused inconvenience to the commuters, here on Tuesday.
As per reports, conceding to District Magistrate's order, Janipur police booked persons who were protesting against PDD for its failure to restore the electricity of Bhawani Nagar area while blocking road.
Police arrested three persons on spot while rest of the protestors managed to escape. They have been identified as Bharat Bushan, Rohit Arora and Ashu.
The identification of the rest of the absconders were being ascertained. Police booked them under section 147, 341, 447 A, 506 RPC. |
