JAMMU, Sept 12: To promote the national language, a Hindi Fortnight commenced at Radio Kashmir Jammu (RKJ), here today. Various competitions would be organized during this fortnight. The event was launched lighting of traditional lamp by chief guest, Member Legislative Assembly (MLA), Ashwani Sharma and guest of honour, Regional Manager State Bank of India, Surinder Kapoor. Welcoming the dignitaries, Director RKJ Jammu, VK Sambyal said, "Like every year, this year too, we are celebrating Hindi Fortnight with great enthusiasm as it is also our duty towards national language. A debate competition on the topic was held on the opening day. LD Shastri, Champa Sharma and Jagdish Chander were the jury members. The programme was conducted by Manisha Sharma. Among the participants were Madhvi Sharma, KK Liddu, Sumit Sharma, Sanjay Koul, Sunita Bhagat, Hassan Parwaz, Rozy Koul, Sanjay Zutshi and Anjana Badyal participated in the competition. The programme was conducted by Hindi Officer, Manisha Sharma. The winners of the debate competition were Sunita Bhagat first, Anjana Badyal second and Madhvi Sharma third. Sumit Sharma and Sanjay Zutshi bagged consolation prizes. |
