38 still missing, 11 bodies recovered from Saddal

Udhampur, Sept 12: As the rescue cum relif across the state is on including worst hot Saddal-Pinjar of Pancheri in Udhampur, reports said that atlesat 38 persons still are missing while 11 bodies including four of a family have been recovered in a mudslide in which over 65 houses got buried.
According to reports from Udhampur, the hectic rescue cum relief operation is on in Saddal village in Pancheri of Udhampur under the supervision of 19 Garhwal Rifle Commanding Officer Nitin Tirpathi and SDRF and army's sniffer squad. Commanding Officer Nitin said that till now 11 bodies have been recovered which have been identified namely as Uttam Singh s/o Balak Ram, Rajeev Singh s/o Kapoor Singh, Punna w/o Rajeev Singh, Rita Devi (11 months old) d/o Rajeev Singh, Darshen (3 yrs) s/o Rajeev Singh, Radha Devi (15 yrs) d/o Grdhari Lal, Sukhver Singh s/o Balber Singh, Paritam s/o Shunku and his wife Chancla Devi and their infant son.
CO Nitin also added that rescue cum search operation is on and more bodies may be retrieved from debris.
