| Chairman DLSA organizes camp at temporary rehabilitation centre | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Sept 12: A core group headed by Chairman District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Vinod Chatterji Koul (Pr. District & Sessions Judge, Kathua) organized a camp at temporary rehabilitation centre at Sheep Husbandry Hospital, Rajbagh in order to check, supervise the distribution of relief to the flood affected victims in District Kathua.
In the camp along with Chairman District Legal Services Authority, District Mobile Magistrate, SDM Hiranagar, Tehsildar, Marheen other revenue officials, Officials from CMO Kathua, Retained advocates were also present along with the flood victim families.
Chairman District Legal Services Authority heard the problems faced by the flood victims present there and issued the directions to the officials of CMO, Kathua to provide required medical facilities to the flood victims and check the scope of spread of epidemic diseases in the flood affected area and Rehabilitation Centre.
He also directed the SDM and Revenue Officials to provide tents, order safer accommodation to the displaced persons and check the need of women and children.
In addition to this, Chairman District Legal Services Authority personally looked into the matter weather proper and hygienic food and water provided to the flood victims.
Chairman District Legal Services Authority with the help of retained advocates, PLVs under legal services authority act made of operation a village legal centre and support centre at the afore said camp. |
