District adminstration dispatches relief material from Amritsar airport 9/12/2014 11:22:21 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Sept 12: District administration in collaboration with Amritsar administration today dispatched 10,000 food packets and 25000 blankets from Amritsar airport to Srinagar for relief to flood affected families. Tehsildar Kathua Jetinder Mishra assisted DC Amritsar Ravi Bhagat for coordinating dispatch, which Indian Air Force helicopters lifted from Amritsar at 10 am. District administration is also collecting and dispatching relief material from areas of neighboring states and within district through a number of organizations. The DC Kathua has issued appeal that any affected family or stranded passengers can approach the grievance redressal cell for immediate relief.
