| Jammu, Sept 12: To reach out to the poor and needy people and provide them succor and relief at their doorstep, Indian Red Cross Society, Branch Jammu under the chairmanship of Executive Secretary, Suresh Sharma toured Sure Chak and Phallian Mandal extensively. On the occasion, Suresh said that IRCS team distributed blankets, tarpauline, ration and eatables among the 150 sufferers' families in these areas by reaching out to the families at their doorstep. I.R.C.S. Executive Secretary Suresh Sharma said that the loss suffered by these people is tremendous and IRCS is trying its level best to distribute blankets, tarpauline, eatables, clothes as a first-hand relief from their resources and appealed the general public to come forward and extend their helping hands wholeheartedly by providing them cash or in kind in this hour of distress so that these can be percolated among the distressed families at this crucial juncture |
