Jammu, Sept 12 : National Student's Union of India Jammu unit today held a strong protest outside Jammu University gate condemning the alleged misbehavior with NSUI team headed by its state president Neeraj Kundan. NSUI has said that a team of NSUI was heading towards Srinagar in order to carry out relief and rescue work in Kashmir but J&K police personnel misbehaved with them and stopped them. Police inspector Jamwal also abused the NSUI activists and started harassing them. NSUI has demanded an immediate inquiry into it and also demanded suspension of inspector Jamwal. They said it is very unfortunate that when the Country is united for a single cause, police of the state is not cooperating. Among the protesting candidates were Avijyot Singh, State general Secretary, NSUI, Ranjodh Singh, State Secretary NSUI, Sunny Parihar, District President, Jammu and Ravinder Pal Singh, President of Jammu College of Ayurveda & Research |
