| HC restrains state from posting of non-cadre against cadre posts | | IFS Officer challenging posting of non-cadre | | Jammu, Sept 12 : In a petition filed by Jatindra Kumar Singh an IFS cadre officer challenging the posting of non-cadre officers against the cadre post in various arrangements like adhoc, stop-gap and Incharge basis and the petitioner being an IFS cadre officer is deprived of a cadre post which is contrary to the IFS Cadre Rules, 1966.
Justice Janak Raj Kotwal of J&K High Court after hearing Adv WS Nargal issued notice to the respondents returnable within two weeks and meanwhile, as ad-interm subject to objections, respondent shall submit compliance report as earlier direction issued by the Court. Justice Janak Raj Kotwal directed State that till next date before the Bench, respondents shall not post any non-cadre officer against cadre post in violation of IFS Cadre Rules 1966 and in any arrangement that is adhoc, stop-gap and Incharge etc. |
