| Bhandari expresses shock over devastated flood in Valley | | | Kishtwar, Sept 12: Shamsher singh Bhandari, senior congress leader and Member Kissan Board Kishtwar expressed his deep sorrow over the devastated flood that struck Kashmir Valley where in lakhs of people are struggling for life .
Bhandari has further hailed the rescue measures being carried out by the Indian army who are working by leaps and bounds to rescue the publ;ic out of the flood affected area by pressing into the service of choppers and boats and also providing them eatables.While speaking Bhandari has expressed his heartfelt thanks to the PM of India for coming to the rescue of flood victims by way of sanctioning thousands of crores of rehabilitation of the flood affected people of Kashmir as well as those of Jammu region. He further said that package amount be enhanced considerably in consonance with quantum of loss suffered due to recent flood in the valley. |
