| BJP's CA Cell to submit Memorandum to PM | | | Jammu, Sept 12 : CA Cell of Bharatiya Janata Party convened an emergency meeting where it was discussed to submit a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the compliance with various laws of land relating to payment of taxes, filling of various returns, payment of statutory dues and repayment of loans. Secretary, State Election Campaign Committee and State Incharge Cell Sat Sharma (CA) addressed the meeting. He was also accompanied by State Convenor of CA Cell CA Deepak Kapahi and Co- Convenor CA Vishal Rometra.
Addressing the meeting Sat Sharma (CA) said that majority of the people have lost their houses, property which means that all their important documents must have been lost so under those circumstances it becomes difficult for the common masses of the State to comply with laws of land. He stated that business houses in Jammu and Kashmir have suffered deeply and it has become difficult in this scenario for them to file their statutory dues in time. Deepak Kapahi said that the whole CA fraternity prays for the earliest recovery of mankind from the present scenario of the State. He also stated that the entire State is reeling under the burden of recouping the extensive damage suffered by all and under these situations it becomes completely difficult to comply with various statutory date lines of Direct and Indirect taxes.
CA Ritesh Gupta, CA Satish Gupta, CA Jitesh Arora, CA Nitin Mahajan, CA Deepak Gupta, CA Neeraj Nagpal, CARitesh Arora, CA Aneesh Abrol, CA Loveneesh Kapoor were among the professionals present in the meeting. |
