Residents of Smailpur stage protest against PDD 9/19/2014 11:00:00 PM Early Times Report Samba, Sept 19: Residents of village Smailpur today held protest demonstration against PDD for not providing transformer which has been burnt 20 days ago at office of Executive Engineer, Elec. M& R.E. Division Vijaypur. Protestors raised slogans against the department and said that we are continuously paying the electric bill but the department has totally failed to maintain the transformer. They further told that 20 days ago the transformer was burnt but the department has not installed transformer in the village. Due to this reason we and our kids are suffering a lot.They further said that they will not pay the electricity bill of this month as they have utilized the power.
