| GRP evacuates mother, new born to Hospital | | | Jammu, Sept 19: Continuing its goodwill gesture, the team of GRP today shifted a woman who gave birth to her child in a waiting room at Railway station to Govt Hospital Gandhinagar for further medical treatment.
According to official spokesperson, one woman namely Mobida Khatoon w/o Hyder Ali, r/o A/P Basantbag Srinagar gave birth to a male baby at waiting Hall Railway Station Jammu.
Receiving the information, Shiv Kumar, SSP Railways, Jammu, Rajinder Singh Tara, Special Secretary, Relief, Receipt Camp Railway Station Jammu alongwith other staff, Chanderjeet Singh, SDPO GRP Jammu visited the spot and arranged an Ambulance, spokesperson said.
He added the GRP team provided immediate medical facilities in a very short period and shifted the said lady alongwith new born to Govt. Hospital Gandhi Nagar Jammu safely for further treatment.
'However both the lady and baby are feeling well, he added. |
