MLA inaugurates transformers 10/1/2014 9:52:39 PM Early Times Report Ramban, Oct 1:Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Ramban, Ashok Kumar inaugurated two transformers of 25KVa and 100KV at Sundhgali and Bass Mohalla Chanderkot respectively on today. According to press release, he contributed Rs.5 lac and Rs.80, 000 respectively from his CDF for the new installation of former and the up-gradation of latter following a demand by the villagers in the wake of their sufferings due to the low voltage and erratic power supply in these areas. The former project included the laying of High Transmission and Low Transmission lines as well. Addressing the gathering at Sundhgali, Ashok reminded the villagers of his contribution in the up-gradation of the Middle School, construction of a link road under NABARD and sanctioning of a Medical Sub-Centre in this backward area mostly consisting of Gujjars and minority community people. He assured them of fulfilling their other demands in future if elected again.
