Cong criticizes shifting of Gandhi's statue from Mubarak Mandi 10/1/2014 11:09:43 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 1: MLC and chief spokesman Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee, Ravinder Sharma has taken strong exception to the action of the Mubarak Mandi Heritage Society for removing the statue of Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi from its location, besides demolishing the Court inside the Mubarak Mandi Complex. Sharma said that role of the Mubarak Mandi Heritage Society is only to restore and preservation of the Dogra Heritage but interfering to its originality would destroy the monumental inspiration of this Historical site.He also raised question over the removal of statue of Mahatma Gandhi and said that general public sought explanation over this action.
