Congress takes out impressive 'road show' in Sonawari

Srinagar, Nov 15: Acceraleting Poll campaign for Congress party, the Former Union Minister and President J&K Pradesh Congress Committee Prof SaifuddinSoz MP accompanied with and MainulHaque-Secretary AICC led an unprecedented road show in Sonawari in Kashmir. While addressing party activists Prof Soz not only thanked them for their enthusiastic participation but also cautioned them against RSS. He said that all the three regions of the State were under attack from RSS which has been promoting divisive and communal policies.
Prof Soz urged the largely attended gathering of people to defeat the communal game of the RSS and save their Cultural Identity.
Prof Soz said that it was Congress alone which can stop the onslaught of the RSS against democratic and secular Institutions of India. He also expressed his pleasure that the people have realized another fact also that it was Congress alone can keep the people of &K State together. MainulHaque-Secretary AICC, Aftab Ahmad Beigh District President Baramulla, ImtiyazParray also addressed the gathering and appealed the people to vote and support Congress Party which will serve them best.
Earlier raising slogans and holding banners highlighting achievements of Congress, the ralliests including women attired in traditional dress sang traditional Kashmiri Songs welcoming the leaders. The gatherings responded to Prof Soz's appeal to press the button for Congress Party Symbol--The Hand and ensure ImtiyazParray's success with an overwhelming majority. During the road show, the senior Congress leaders were greeted today at Dangarpora, Ganastan, Nowgam, Odina, Zalpora, Arampora, Sumbal, Inderkote, (Sonwari Constituency) by the party activists.
